Steven Barnett, chief representative of the International Monetary Fund (hereinafter referred to as IMF) in China, pointed out at the forum that to ensure the recovery of the global economy, the primary policy is to accelerate global vaccination.

　　Steven Barnett said that the IMF has proposed an accelerated vaccination plan that needs to reach 40% of the global population by the end of this year and 70% by mid-2022.
