China News Service, Suzhou, October 14 (Zhou Jianlin) From October 13th to 14th, the 2021 Group of Twenty (G20) Entrepreneurship Roundtable Dialogue was held in Fenhu High-tech Zone, Wujiang District, Suzhou City.

With the theme of “Embracing the Era of Digital Transformation and Reshaping the Employment of Entrepreneurship”, this roundtable dialogue invited government representatives, experts and scholars from G20 members to discuss entrepreneurial policies in the digital age through a combination of online and offline methods.

  The vigorous development of the digital economy has provided a broad development space and diversified development models for entrepreneurship and employment, and has also triggered profound changes in the employment structure.

During the two-day period, more than 150 people online and offline participated in the roundtable dialogue, and conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on six topics including support for digital entrepreneurship and digital transformation of entrepreneurial enterprises, and women's entrepreneurship in the digital age.

  Hao Bin, the Chinese representative of the G20 Employment Working Group and Director of the International Cooperation Department of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security, said in his speech that entrepreneurship is an important way to promote economic and social development, expand employment, and improve people's livelihood.

All members of the G20 attach great importance to entrepreneurial work.

The G20 Labor and Employment Ministers' Meeting held in June this year passed a declaration, "Encouraging the G20 Entrepreneurship Research Center to carry out research on women's entrepreneurship in the digital age". This meeting is an important measure to implement the requirements of the Ministerial Declaration.

  Gao Jian, director of the G20 Entrepreneurship Research Center of Tsinghua University and professor of the School of Economics and Management of Tsinghua University, made a keynote speech, summarizing the numbers of G20 members from six aspects: government transformation, education and training, financial support, market support, technology empowerment and ecological construction. Entrepreneurship policy, it is recommended that G20 members work hard to build a digital government, improve citizens' digital capabilities, promote the development of financial technology, use the cost advantages of the digital economy, build digital entrepreneurship and digital transformation benchmark enterprises, and guide all parties to participate in linkage.

  International Labor Organization (ILO) economist Uma Rani Amara shared the ILO "World Employment and Social Outlook: Trends for 2021" report, describing the role of digital platforms in changing the world's employment pattern.

  It is reported that the Group of Twenty (G20) Entrepreneurship Roundtable Dialogue is guided by the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security and Tsinghua University and hosted by the G20 Entrepreneurship Research Center of Tsinghua University. It has been held for five consecutive sessions.
