This means that this intercity rail link connecting the capital's two major international airports has achieved significant progress.

  Feng Jianzhou, project manager of China Railway 22nd Bureau Group, said that the 111-kilometer new intercity railway line is the innermost semi-circular line of the Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei regional intercity railway network. Beijing Daxing International Airport Station and Langfang are located on the whole line. East Station, Universal Studios Station, Beijing Sub-center Station, Capital International Airport Station and other stations.

It is a two-line intercity railway with a design speed of 200 kilometers per hour.

  It is reported that the newly built intercity rail link is considered to be of great significance for improving the functions of the railway hub in the core area of ​​Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei, achieving the integration of multiple tracks and multimodal railway and aviation transportation.

The southern end is connected to the Beijing-Xiong Intercity Railway, the high-speed rail Xiong'an Station and the Beijing-Xiong-shanghai high-speed rail, and the northern end is connected to the Beijing-Harbin High-speed Railway and the Beijing-Zhangzhou High-speed Railway. Multiple lines realize connection or transfer, and realize transfers with Beijing Airport Line, Pinggu Line, New Airport Line and many other rail transit lines.

  Feng Jianzhou said that the construction of the new intercity railway tie line will be divided into two phases.

The first phase of the project is 39.3 kilometers long, starting from Langfang East Station to the border of Tokyo-Hebei Province and ending at Beijing Daxing International Airport to the border of Nanjing-Hebei Province. The Beijing section is 15.2 kilometers long and the Hebei section is 24.1 kilometers long.

Yu'an No. 2 Tunnel with a total length of 1.95 kilometers is the tunnel with the smallest curve radius in the first phase of the project, and the deepest foundation pit is nearly 22 meters.

The operation of such a large foundation pit at such a depth not only makes the construction technology difficult, but also poses huge challenges to safety control.

  Feng Jianzhou revealed that the technical staff of its project department strengthened scientific and technological research, optimized the construction plan, and changed the original single-sided excavation of the tunnel to five tunnels and ten working surfaces at the same time, continuously accelerating the progress of the project.

In response to the problem of regular maintenance of the main tunnel body, the technical team introduced artificial intelligence and independently developed an automatic spray maintenance trolley. With a single tap on the mobile phone, the maintenance of concrete structures can be easily controlled remotely, which speeds up the progress of the project. Ensure the quality of the project.

Up to now, the first phase of the new intercity railway connection line is progressing smoothly, and about 94% of the main offline works have been completed.
