Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed witnesses the launch of the "Abu Dhabi Statistics Center" analysis and induction platform
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Executive Council of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, witnessed the launch of the advanced analysis and induction platform established by the Statistics Center - Abu Dhabi, with the aim of providing statistical data using the latest artificial intelligence techniques in data analysis, to support Policy making and future planning.
The platform provides interactive panels, analytical models and simulations through statistical data, enabling decision makers at the Abu Dhabi government level to study and forecast the impact of various policies on the economic and social sectors, and achieve the highest levels of efficiency in managing, using and integrating resources across government agencies.
The platform also enables the business community to plan their strategies according to accurate statistical data.
The platform relies on collecting data from government institutions and the private sector, and by self-learning through advanced algorithms.
The launch of the platform at the Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center was attended by the heads and general managers of several government agencies in Abu Dhabi, and they were briefed during the event on the advantages and objectives of the platform.
His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed praised the efforts of the Statistics Center - Abu Dhabi to build the advanced technological platform. His Highness pointed out the importance of benefiting from the platform's capabilities to support proactive policy making and future planning.
His Highness highlighted the potential offered by sharing collective data to obtain deep analyzes and meaningful predictions.
The Director General of Statistics Center - Abu Dhabi, Ahmed Mahmoud Fikri, said: "The analysis and induction platform, which represents the latest in modern technologies in analyzing traditional and non-traditional data and big data by means of artificial intelligence, is a new revolution added to Abu Dhabi's achievements in the global race towards the social contract. What is new with data, which opens wide prospects on the economic, social and scientific levels.
He added, "The platform provides a regular production of statistics and analyses, and it can prepare a study of future possibilities and scenarios that simulate multiple analyzes using artificial intelligence, and know the impact of those possibilities in advance on the different sectors of society, whether in terms of economic, social or service terms."
He pointed out that "the production of the platform is one of the elements of empowerment for leaders and makers of government plans and policies, and a new distinguished service at the region's level for the business community and the scientific community in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, as well as the residents of the emirate, with its transparent, up-to-date statistics and analysis that are relevant to reality and the interests of customers."
