Honda, which develops small business jets, has revealed its concept for developing a new model.

The company aims to extend its cruising range to 1.8 times that of the aircraft currently in production so that it can cross the Americas without refueling along the way.

Honda introduced the 7-seater small business jet "HondaJet" to the US market six years ago, and has been the world's top shipment in this field for four consecutive years.

Under these circumstances, Honda announced the development concept of a new model.

According to it, the cruising range will be 4862 km, which is about 1.8 times that of the current aircraft, and the aim is to be able to fly between New York on the east coast of the United States and Los Angeles on the west coast without refueling on the way.

If realized, it will have the longest cruising range in the world for an aircraft of the same class.

In addition, we are aiming to increase the total length from the current 7 to 11 by making it longer than the current aircraft, and to improve fuel efficiency by about 20% compared to other aircraft in the same class.

The company wants to cultivate new customers by increasing the size of the aircraft, and decides when to start selling while checking whether there is demand.
