[Rural Revitalization] Guangxi Women’s Competition picking raw snail powder and beans to celebrate the harvest
On October 13, dozens of women from Pingshan Town, Luzhai County, Liuzhou City, Guangxi Province, were participating in a bean picking competition to celebrate the harvest of beans in the second half of the year.
Pingshan Town is one of the places where bean plantation is concentrated, and it will enter a high-yield period in a week, with a daily output of 25,000 kilograms.
With the popularity of Liuzhou's pre-packaged (bag-packed) snail noodles, the raw material of snail noodles and beans are selling well.
This year, 4 million kilograms of snap beans will be pickled into capers in this town, which will be supplied to Liuzhou snail powder enterprises.
In 2021, Pingshan Town will plant 2,800 mu of beans in the first half of the year, which will increase farmers' income by about 40 million yuan, and will plant 3,200 mu in the second half of the year, which is expected to generate 45 million yuan in income.
