The Government promotes this 2022 the budget of the Ministry of Consumption directed by Alberto Garzón.
Although it is still the department with the least money, its departure increased by 46%, to 60 million euros, compared to 41 million last year.
The area that will have the greatest increase in the
budget
is the regulation of online gambling,
with 66.08% more than in 2021.
The main items benefited are related to the new regulations that the ministry is developing with the aim of improving the capacity of surveillance, control and sanction on the online gambling and betting market.
Investments in campaigns to prevent gambling will amount to 1.5 million euros.
