China News Service, Suifenhe, October 7 (Liu Decai and Sun Jing) Suifenhe Railway Port Station announced on the 7th that as the weather turns cold and the heating season comes, the demand for coal in the Northeast is strong.

The Suifenhe Railway Port comprehensively strengthened the coal import and transportation organization. During the National Day, the average daily coal import exceeded 5,000 tons, which strongly supported the normal operation of some power supply and heating enterprises in the Northeast.

Since the beginning of this year, due to the accelerated economic recovery and development, electricity consumption in the three northeastern provinces has increased significantly, the supply of electricity and coal has become tight, and there is also a large shortage of coal reserves for heating in winter.

Increasing Russian coal imports is also one of the important measures.

Suifenhe Railway Station, as the largest railway port station in Heilongjiang Province to Russia, is doing its best to organize Russian coal import transportation.

The station communicates and coordinates with the Russian railway port station, and talks with the Russian railway port station daily to keep abreast of the number of foreign cars, the flow of inbound vehicles and the construction of the Russian railway, and make preparations for pick-up in advance.
