  Wang Jinqiu, chairman of Shanghai Oriental Silk Road Intermodal Transport Co., Ltd., a platform company for China-Europe Express, said: “The time to transport goods through China-Europe Express can be reduced to about 2 weeks, which is half that of ocean freight. The opening of the "Shanghai" train provides a new way for us to export to countries and regions along the "Belt and Road" route and to Europe."

  The "China-Europe Express-Shanghai" will operate in a market-oriented, professional, and international manner. It is currently operated once a week.
