Emirates Airlines has transported 6.2 million passengers between Dubai and Amman in 35 years

Emirates Airlines announced today that, since the launch of its first flight to Amman in 1986, it has transported more than 6.2 million passengers on about 32,000 flights between the Jordanian capital and Dubai, which contributed to supporting the movement of tourism, trade and investment between the two countries.

The carrier stated, on the occasion of the 35th anniversary of its service to Jordan, that Amman has proven its importance as its main destination in the Middle East, pointing out that it has expanded its operations in Jordan during the past year, as it currently operates two daily flights between Amman and Dubai, one of them with A380 aircraft.

Emirates Airline Director in Jordan, Muhammad Lootah, said: “We are pleased to celebrate the 35th anniversary of the start of the Amman service, and we affirm our commitment to achieving global connectivity with Jordan, which has begun the stage of economic recovery from the unprecedented effects of the (Covid-19) pandemic.” Jordan is an important market for Emirates Airlines.
