  Yin Hong said that in response to the current situation, on the basis of prevention and control of the epidemic, with the goal of improving the quality of life of residents and expanding the scale of urban consumption, in-depth implementation of urban business promotion actions.

  First of all, we must build a quarter of an hour convenient life service circle in the city, focusing on convenient consumption for the community.

Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Commerce, in conjunction with 11 departments, has issued the "Opinions on Promoting the Construction of a Quarter-Hour Convenience Living Service Circle in the City", and publicized the first batch of 30 pilot areas.

The next step will be to improve and optimize the layout of community business outlets, and build a batch of convenient life service circles with complete business formats, complete functions, and wisdom and convenience.

  At the same time, characteristic business districts and characteristic neighborhoods will be developed.

Judging from the current situation, from January to August this year, the passenger flow and turnover of the 23 pilot pedestrian streets increased by more than 40% year-on-year.

It is reported that the Ministry of Commerce will also issue guidelines for the high-quality development of pedestrian streets, as well as a series of documents such as guidelines for the construction of urban commercial circles, to promote the development of characteristic neighborhoods and characteristic commercial circles, and to further improve the consumption environment.

Since the beginning of this year, the Ministry of Commerce has organized more than 100 time-honored carnivals, which directly drove sales of more than 1.2 billion yuan, especially online and offline sales of more than 15 billion yuan.
