Lebanon waited for more than a year for the appointment of a government.

The new team, announced on September 10, is led by Najib Mikati.

The latter was received by Emmanuel Macron on Friday, September 24 at the Elysee Palace, for a working meeting between the Prime Minister of a country hit by a deep economic crisis, and the French president who displays his support for Lebanon while calling for his leaders to reforms.
