Fast forward to 2021. The new Mach 1 is the sportiest Mustang ever officially released in Europe, and the original recipe is preserved.

First, we inflate the power of the naturally aspirated 5.0-liter V8: 460 hp instead of the 449 hp of the classic Mustang V8.

Then, we graft some chassis elements from the most extreme versions, namely the GT350 and GT500, not available in Europe.

The result is a car that puts very serious performance within the reach of informed drivers (but not necessarily experts), at an unbeatable price.

Exotic and pure

With its iconic look, “in your face” exterior trim and Dantesque sound, driving the Mustang Mach 1 is a daily breath of exoticism.

But do not think that it is irrelevant in Europe, because by its dimensions and its habitability, it is ultimately not so different from its most direct European competitor: the BMW M4 Coupé.

A real trunk, realistic rear seats, everyday comfort… and a manual gearbox (optional automatic gearbox), to preserve the purity of driving pleasure.

Difference in size: the Ford Mustang Mach 1 starts at 62,400 €.

Even with all the options and the 30,000 € (!) Ecological penalty, we do not reach the base price of the BMW.

A good ear ...
