  After making up his mind, Chen Deqi bought 100,000 acres of Gobi Desert in Ningxia and began to develop wasteland and build a wine estate.

  Facing the vast Gobi Desert, Chen Deqi also suffered.

"It is easy to buy land and open up wasteland. I can only start from scratch, learn seedling cultivation techniques, and figure out how to find water and connect electricity on the Gobi Desert." To this end, he carefully selected grafted seedlings from abroad, hired French winemaking experts with high salaries to guide him, and constantly improved the grape planting and brewing techniques.

  Today, the wines produced by Chen Deqi’s winery have won gold medals in the 23rd, 24th, and 26th Brussels International Wine Competition, Paris Gilbert Competition, and “Belt and Road” International Wine Competition. Representing Chinese wines in the Louvre exhibition tour in France for two consecutive years, making Chinese wines famous.

  At present, the eastern foothills of Helan Mountain in Ningxia have become one of the industry's recognized golden areas for growing wine grapes and producing high-end wines. The comprehensive output value of the wine industry exceeds RMB 26 billion.
