On September 16, the State Council Information Office held a regular policy briefing to introduce the "National High-standard Farmland Construction Plan (2021-2030)" (hereinafter referred to as the "Plan").

Zhang Taolin, deputy minister of the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, said that by the end of 2020, China has completed the construction of 800 million mu of high-standard farmland.

In order to protect the enthusiasm of farmers to grow grain and ensure that China’s grain output has been stable at more than 1.3 trillion catties for many years, it has played an important supporting role.
