SPC Samlip's 'Kim Yeon-kyung Bread', released by Kim Yeon-kyung, a volleyball star, has been caught up in controversy over whether the price is expensive compared to the product composition.

According to the food industry today (16th), 'Bread Sister' released by SPC Samlip on the 9th is a product consisting of three slices of bread applied with the 'tangjong method' kneaded with hot water and Kim Yeon-kyung stickers, and the price is 1,800 won.

In the online space, there are criticisms that 1,800 won for a piece of bread is too expensive even considering Kim Yeon-kyung's 'name price' and stickers.

One netizen said, "I bought it thinking it would be a bread sandwich at that price, but there were only three slices of bread." I wrote down.

However, on the other hand, there was also a counter-argument that 'Kim Yeon-kyung bread' is not the only issue as other convenience store bread products have similar prices.

One netizen pointed out, "Convenience store bread that comes in subdivisions is originally expensive," and pointed out, "If you want to find excellent value for money (price-performance ratio), you have to go to a supermarket, not a convenience store, to find bread."

Convenience store GS25's 'Breadique Bread 25' is priced at 1,500 won for two pieces, and 7-Eleven's 'Breadaum Roasted Walnut Bread' is sold at 1,800 won for two pieces.

SPC Samlip, the manufacturer, did not take a special position on this controversy.
