  It was pointed out at the meeting that in August, the entire industry completed 558,000 hours of transportation aviation flight, a year-on-year decrease of 35.9%; general aviation flight hours were 109,000 hours, a year-on-year increase of 3.1%.

There have been no aviation accidents, and safety production in the industry continues to maintain an overall stable trend.

As of the end of August, my country's transport aviation has continued to fly safely for 132 months, with 95.95 million hours, and safely transported 4.93 billion passengers.

  In August, due to the impact of the Nanjing epidemic and its spread, the scale of civil aviation production declined significantly, showing a trend of both passenger and cargo decline.

The total transportation turnover, passenger transportation, and cargo and mail transportation of the entire industry this month were 4.91 billion ton-kilometers, 22.407 million passengers, and 520,000 tons, respectively, down 35.6%, 51.5%, and 5.6% year-on-year.

Total transportation turnover is equivalent to 42.6% of the same period in 2019; passenger traffic is equivalent to 36.6% of the same period in 2019; cargo and mail transportation is equivalent to 82.5% in the same period of 2019, of which all-cargo aircraft completed cargo and mail transportation of 217,000 tons, year-on-year A decrease of 1.2%.

  It was also stated at the meeting that in August, civil aviation guaranteed a total of 278,000 flights of various types, with an average of 8,981 flights per day. The average daily decrease was 32.7% year-on-year and 35.8% month-on-month.

The national flight regularity rate is 95%.

Affected by weather such as thunderstorms and typhoons, a total of 4,681 departures were delayed, and 479 departures were delayed.
