Chinanews Client Beijing, September 14 (Reporter Zhang Xu) At the regular press conference of the Civil Aviation Administration held on the 14th, Shang Kejia, deputy director of the Transportation Department of the Civil Aviation Administration, stated that in order to ensure double travel, every On the basis of the domestic scheduled flight plan of more than 100,000 flights per week, the Civil Aviation Administration has arranged for a number of airlines to implement the Mid-Autumn Festival overtime plan of 4250 flights and the National Day overtime plan of 4406 flights.

Shang Kejia said that this year’s Mid-Autumn National Day holiday has the following characteristics:

One is that the two sessions are relatively close in time.

Unlike last year's double festival, which was an 8-day long holiday, this year will form a combination of long and short holidays.

Civil aviation transportation will present two peaks of first and last travel.

The peak of the Mid-Autumn Festival holiday is September 18; the peak of the National Day holiday is September 30, October 6, 7 and 10.

The second is that the local epidemic was brought under control at the early stage.

In July and August of this year, the superimposed cases of imported cases overseas and the spread of epidemics in many local areas caused the traditional summer peak season of civil aviation to be cold, and passenger traffic decreased by 42% and 16.6% compared with 2019 and 2020, respectively.

During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday, part of the travel demand that was suppressed during the summer was released.

From the recent OTA search and booking situation, it is relatively optimistic, and it will achieve a substantial increase compared with the summer vacation.

The third is the low-level operation of international flights.

The current overseas epidemic situation is still complicated and severe. At present, the Chinese and foreign airlines operate about 200 round-trip international passenger flights every week, accounting for 2.2% of the pre-epidemic period.

At present, international flights mainly guarantee the most basic connectivity with the lowest frequency, and the conditions for resumption and increase of flights are not available for the time being, so this year's double festival period is still not a good time for outbound travel.

  Fourth, passengers travel more rationally.

In terms of capacity arrangements, the Civil Aviation Administration actively supports airlines in flexibly organizing capacity and time resources, optimizing route structure, and meeting holiday market demands.

Up to now, on the basis of more than 100,000 domestic scheduled flights per week, a number of airlines have been arranged to implement 4250 overtime plans for Mid-Autumn Festival and 4406 overtime plans for National Day.

The Civil Aviation Administration puts forward three suggestions for traveling in two festivals: first, do not forget to prevent and control when traveling happily, second, facilitate travel to cooperate with prevention and control, and third, take responsibility for prevention and control of healthy travel.

Shang Kejia said: “Every passenger is the primary body of responsibility for prevention and control. If you feel fever, dry cough, fatigue and other symptoms at the airport or on the flight, you should immediately seek help from civil aviation staff. This is both responsible for yourself. It is also responsible to others, but also to the whole society." (End)
