Bin Touq said during the meeting: "The Abrahamic Peace Agreement provides a constructive platform for achieving exceptional growth and important achievements in the economic partnership between the UAE and Israel and the launch of trade and investment cooperation ties between the two countries at a rapid pace within a record time, which is an important catalyst for achieving further growth and prosperity in the relations of the two countries." He added that the UAE, under the directives of its wise leadership, believes that the future of regional security depends on strong multilateral economic partnerships and a joint commitment to achieving stability and prosperity, as the Abrahamic Peace Agreement comes to consolidate this trend.

Bin Touq continued: "The agreement generated wide and diversified economic opportunities for the UAE and Israel, and within one year a good non-oil trade exchange amounted to about $700 million, as well as the signing of about 60 major agreements between the concerned authorities in the two countries, at the level of the government and private sectors and academic institutions. It included a number of the most important future sectors that occupy great importance on the economic agenda of the two countries, such as technological sciences, artificial intelligence technologies, tourism, logistics, transportation, health care, energy, environment, research and development, modern agriculture, water solutions and irrigation.”

He stressed that the efforts of the two countries in this regard are continuing, and that the next phase will witness more agreements and memoranda of understanding to expand the scope of economic, trade and investment cooperation between the two countries and achieve new leaps in the growing bilateral relations.

Bin Touq pointed out that the growth of economic and commercial activity, the increase in tourism exchange and the flow of investments between the two countries would enhance growth and opportunities on a broader regional scale by pushing for greater economic integration among the countries of the region to include all sectors, which would contribute to increasing opportunities for the youth and laying the foundations for For a more prosperous and sustainable future in the various countries of the region.

He also stressed that the UAE's hosting of the world's most prominent economic event next October, "Expo 2020 Dubai", represents an opportunity to give a great boost to Emirati-Israeli relations and attract larger numbers of businessmen and companies from Israel to showcase their products, services and innovations in various sectors, as well as inform them of business opportunities.
