“The Bank of Russia plans to start testing a prototype of the digital ruble platform from January 2022, as planned by the concept that we published this spring,” the Central Bank said.
According to the Central Bank, the platform is currently being actively developed.
“So far, we do not see any obstacles to the introduction of the digital ruble,” added the Bank of Russia.
