Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed visits the Expo 2020 Dubai site and the UAE National Pavilion

His Highness Sheikh Khalid bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Member of the Abu Dhabi Executive Council and Head of the Abu Dhabi Executive Office, visited the Expo 2020 Dubai site, met with the Expo 2020 Dubai national team, and was briefed on their exceptional preparations for the global event.

His Highness, during a field tour with the Minister of State for International Cooperation and Director General of the Expo 2020 Dubai Bureau, Reem bint Ibrahim Al Hashemi, was briefed on the final preparations for the exhibition and its facilities with international standards, and the areas included in the exhibition, focusing on its three sub-themes, namely opportunities, mobility and sustainability.

His Highness also visited the National Pavilion of the UAE, which tells the story of the country that has become the home of the peoples of the world. His Highness met the National Pavilion team with the Minister of Culture and Youth Noura bint Mohammed Al Kaabi, and praised their efforts and readiness to receive UAE guests from all over the world.

His Highness said: We are proud of the exceptional preparations taking place at the Expo 2020 Dubai site, including a global agenda for the country's guests, and we value the role of the UAE National Pavilion in promoting cultural exchange and informing the world about the rich heritage of the UAE.

Reem Al Hashemi welcomed the visit, praising His Highness' keenness to follow up on the efforts of the national work team, and to see the readiness of the UAE National Pavilion.

Al Hashemi said: We are ready to hold an unprecedented version of the global event, and receive UAE guests from around the world, stressing that the UAE National Pavilion is distinguished in terms of the experience it provides to visitors, to reflect the history, culture and authenticity of the Emirates and its people.

The National Pavilion of the UAE tells stories about the land of the Emirates, its people and everyone who considers it their homeland, and focuses in its details and contents on strengthening the ambitious cultural scene of the young state, and tells local and global communities stories about the authenticity of its people, the legacy of its ancestors and the roots of its past deep in its ancient history.

The pavilion also sheds light on the transformation that the UAE has undergone and made it home to people belonging to more than 200 countries around the world. The positive impact of human communication and interdependence, and drawing the features of a bright future that includes everyone.

Expo 2020 Dubai, which is the largest cultural event in the world and the largest global event since the emergence of the Corona pandemic, will participate in 192 countries under the slogan "Connecting Minds and Creating the Future" ..
