They noted that in the first half of the year they received more than 600 requests about the rise in prices for building materials.

"In connection with the need for operational regulation, as well as analysis of the pricing of manufacturers and suppliers of construction and related markets, the department decided to create a list of large organizations operating in the Russian Federation," the statement says.

It is planned that the list will include companies operating in the markets of wood, nonmetallic and paints and varnishes, cement, brick, aerated concrete, mineral wool, sheet glass, roofing materials, bitumen, primary polymers.

Earlier it was reported that the FAS will check the markets for basic and auxiliary building materials.

At the end of August, anti-cartel inspections of valve manufacturers began due to signs of a price collusion.
