(Focus on China-ASEAN Expo) The 18th China-ASEAN Expo opens in Nanning
China News Service, Nanning, September 10 (Jiang Xuelin and Chen Qiuxia) The 18th China-ASEAN Expo and China-ASEAN Business and Investment Summit opened on the 10th in Nanning, Guangxi.
Chinese President Xi Jinping sent a congratulatory letter to the conference.
Chinese Vice President Wang Qishan attended the opening ceremony of the conference and toured the exhibition halls.
2021 is the 30th anniversary of the establishment of China-ASEAN dialogue relations. The 18th China-ASEAN Expo (referred to as CAEXPO) will host the 30th Anniversary of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relationship Economic and Trade Cooperation Achievements Exhibition, and the 30th Anniversary of China-ASEAN Dialogue Relationship Economic and Trade Cooperation Forum and other activities.
The theme of this year's China-ASEAN Expo is "Sharing new opportunities for land and sea channels and building a China-ASEAN community with a shared future."
Laos continues to serve as the subject country, and Pakistan serves as a special partner.
The expo lasts for 4 days.
At the opening meeting, the subject countries Lao Prime Minister Pankhan Vipawan, Brunei Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah, Cambodian Prime Minister Hun Sen, Malaysian Prime Minister Ismail Shabiri, Thai Prime Minister Prayut , Singapore’s Deputy Prime Minister Wang Ruijie, Vietnam’s Deputy Prime Minister Li Wencheng, Pakistani President Arif Alvi and ASEAN Secretary-General Lin Yuhui delivered video speeches.
Ministers of various Chinese ministries, heads of delegations of various provinces (regions, cities), ASEAN countries, Pakistani ambassadors to China, as well as the above 11 countries and previous CAEXPO special partners, and other countries along the "Belt and Road" in China Commercial counselors of the embassy, consuls general in Nanning and Guangzhou, commercial consuls, well-known entrepreneurs, and celebrities from all walks of life participated in this grand event.
The current China-ASEAN Expo will continue to take the form of "physical exhibition + China-ASEAN Expo" combined online and offline.
The "Eastern Cloud Expo" further improved functions such as "Cloud Show", "Cloud Conference", and "Cloud Negotiation", and enriched activities such as live broadcast promotion conferences, supply and demand product launches, and "one-to-one" video matching.
The Cloud East Expo has been operated online 365 days a year to create a never-ending economic and trade cooperation platform.
The total exhibition area of this China-ASEAN Expo is 102,000 square meters, the same as the previous one.
China has 36 provinces, autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the Central Government and cities with separate plans to form groups to participate in the exhibition.
The 10 ASEAN countries will participate in the exhibition as "one country, one exhibition area", using an exhibition area of approximately 12,000 square meters.
This exhibition continued to set up the "Belt and Road" international exhibition area, with companies from 30 countries including Pakistan, Poland, South Korea, Japan, Australia, New Zealand, Russia, France, and Spain.
