An expert group composed of academicians of the Academy of Engineering and survey designers previously stated that the coupling of wind-induced vortex-induced resonance of the mast and changes in the dynamic characteristics of the building and the mast caused the perceived vibration of the SEG Plaza Building; the removal of the mast can effectively solve the SEG Plaza Building. In case of vibration problems, the original lightning protection and navigation mark functions of the mast can be re-arranged on the roof after the mast is removed.
