Etisalat provides free access to the Al Hosn app for mobile subscribers

Etisalat announced today that it will provide the opportunity for subscribers of postpaid and prepaid packages to use the Al Hosn application in public places without the need to activate or purchase a data package.

This step allows the Al-Hosn application to be exempted from consuming data and not counting it from the data balance of mobile subscribers.

Khalid Al-Khouli, CEO of Consumer Sector at Etisalat, said: "We are pleased to provide free access to the Al-Hosn app, which reflects Etisalat's continued commitment to contribute to supporting the efforts of the UAE government in adopting the latest mobile technologies to contain and respond to the Covid-19 pandemic and maintain On the health and safety of all citizens, residents and visitors on the one hand, as well as improving customer experiences on the other hand.”

In confirmation of its decision issued last June, the Committee for the Management of Emergencies, Crises and Disasters caused by the Corona pandemic in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi indicated that the Al-Hosn application should be used exclusively for safe entry to most public places in the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, starting from last August 20, for all residents and visitors.

The Al-Hosn application is used in the procedures of green traffic and entering the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, and the coding system in the Al-Hosn application reflects the vaccination status and the validity period of the nasal swab examination (PCR) according to the green traffic protocol, in addition to a record of all the results of previous nasal swabs.
