The current global epidemic is still continuing, and it is very difficult to prevent and control mutant strains such as Delta. The most important task of the international community is still to fight the new crown pneumonia epidemic.
China will scientifically summarize and evaluate the effects of Chinese and Western medicine in the treatment of new coronary pneumonia, and use scientific methods to explain the efficacy of Chinese medicine in the treatment of new coronary pneumonia.
We are willing to continue to share the experience and practices of Chinese medicine in fighting the epidemic with countries in need, establish an effective cooperation mechanism, jointly respond to the epidemic, and maintain global and regional public health security.

In recent years, the State Drug Administration has respected the law of research and development of traditional Chinese medicines, further improved the classification and declaration requirements of traditional Chinese medicines, and improved the efficiency and level of review and approval.

In the past few years, special approval procedures, priority approval procedures, and conditional approval procedures have been introduced.
The results of the anti-epidemic "three medicines and three prescriptions" are also under the reform situation. We have used special approval procedures to complete the transformation of results.
Among the "three drugs", related indications for the treatment of new coronary pneumonia have been added, so the "three prescriptions" were also approved in March this year and were launched as new drugs.

Huang Luqi, deputy director of the State Administration of Traditional Chinese Medicine, said that in the next step, we must continue to deepen the integration of traditional Chinese medicine into the "Belt and Road" construction, focus on improving the benefits of international cooperation in traditional Chinese medicine, promote the sharing of benefits with the co-building of the country, and help build a human health community.
