The new spokesperson of the Ministry of Commerce Shu Jueting said that from January to July this year, China's service trade maintained a good growth momentum, with service imports and exports growing steadily, the proportion of knowledge-intensive service trade increasing, and travel service imports continuing to decline.
From January to July, the total value of imports and exports of services exceeded 2.8 trillion yuan (RMB, the same below), a year-on-year increase of 7.3%, of which service exports were 13.33.1 billion yuan, an increase of 23.2%; imports were 147.206 billion yuan, a decrease of 4%.
In July, my country's total service imports and exports amounted to 431.92 billion yuan, an increase of 10.1% year-on-year and a decrease of 1.7% month-on-month; of which exports were 208.82 billion yuan, an increase of 21.1% year-on-year and a month-on-month decrease of 3.6%. The export of transportation services increased by 107.5%.
