"International reserves as of August 27 amounted to $ 615.6 billion and increased over the week by $ 20.0 billion, or 3.4%."

It is noted that "a key component of the increase in reserves was the receipt by Russia of special drawing rights (SDRs) in the amount of 17.5 billion US dollars as part of the IMF's decision on a new distribution of SDRs among member countries."

Earlier, the Central Bank of Russia said that in the second quarter of 2021, the domestic economy returned to pre-crisis levels.
