  The Guangzhou Municipal Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development issued the "Notice on Establishing a Reference Price Release Mechanism for Second-hand Housing Transactions" on the evening of the 31st.

The notice stated that for hotspot areas with active transactions, the Guangzhou Housing Policy Research Center will use residential communities as the unit, based on the transaction price of second-hand housing online in the past year, and comprehensively consider factors such as the assessed price and the transaction price of surrounding first-hand real estate. The second-hand housing transaction reference price will be released in due course.

  The notice stated that real estate brokerage agencies, real estate network information publishing platforms, etc. should conduct self-examination of listed housing and may not publish second-hand housing housing with inflated prices.

Relevant institutions involved in second-hand housing transactions should use the reference price of second-hand housing transactions as one of the references for conducting business.
