An appeal was filed on Monday at the administrative court of Grenoble by the director of the Shop'In shopping center in Publier-Amphion (Haute-Savoie).

With this request, he wants to suspend the application of the health pass throughout his establishment, reports France Bleu Pays-de-Savoie.

Several departments such as Essonne, Yvelines or even more recently Hauts-de-Seine have already suspended the introduction of this health measure in their shopping centers.

For basic necessities accessible to all

To argue his request, the director of the Publier-Amphion center points out that his establishment has about thirty shops, including a hypermarket and a pharmacy where customers can buy products necessary in their daily life.

"There is a pharmacy, an optician, a florist, a chocolate workshop… We are disputing the fact of having to control access to these shops which sell basic necessities", explains the director to the local radio station.

An appeal that falls just before the extension of fifteen days of this health measure by the prefecture of the department.

For the moment, the request is under examination.

A hearing date will be determined if the arguments are admissible in order to examine the appeal on the merits.
