The government announced plans to add new public housing sites to be supplied in the 2nd and 4th measures.

The size of the new housing site is 140,000 households, an increase from the originally planned 130,000 households.

There are two new towns in the area where the borders of Uiwang, Gunpo, and Ansan meet, with a total area of 5.8 million square meters, with 41,000 households and 29,000 households in Jinan-dong, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi-do.

50,000 small and medium-sized housing sites will be supplied, including 18,000 households in Guwol, Incheon and 17,000 households in Bongdam, Hwaseong, Gyeonggi.

In non-metropolitan areas, a total of 20,000 new households will be supplied including Daejeon Juk-dong, Sejong Jochiwon, and Yeongi.

The announcement of this new housing site was delayed because it was found that two people from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport and one LH employee owned the land in the area to be developed.

The government decided to identify 229 suspected cases of illegality among the 32,000 cases traded in residential land since 2018 and notify the police and related organizations such as the National Tax Service.

The new housing sites announced this time are scheduled to start selling sequentially from 2026.
