[Explanation] The reporter learned at the PetroChina press conference on August 25 that PetroChina Daqing Oilfield continues to deepen its understanding of shale oil geology, solve engineering technical bottlenecks, and achieve a major strategic breakthrough in continental shale oil in the Songliao Basin, Daqing Gulong shale oil will become an important strategic resource for Daqing's century-old oilfield construction.

  [Explanation] Daqing Oilfield is the largest oilfield in China and one of the few super-large continental sandstone oilfields in the world. It has been explored and developed for more than 60 years, and is facing severe challenges from imbalances in oilfield storage and production and difficulties in stabilizing production.

  [Explanation] Daqing Oilfield has strengthened the study of shale oil enrichment rules, evaluation of enrichment layers, and horizontal well fracturing to increase production, and has achieved major innovations in shale oil in-situ accumulation theory, major breakthroughs in key engineering technologies, and exploration practices Significant results.

Zhang Baogang, deputy head of the fracturing team of the Daqing Oilfield Downhole Operations Branch, told reporters that the shale oil extraction process is different in scale, pressure and displacement compared with previous operations.

  Large displacement, high pressure, and large scale are the biggest challenges we face.

We mobilized our best equipment and the best talents to complete the construction together, because there was no existing experience before, and we were all exploring new experiences while constructing.

The leader also introduced that Daqing shale oil is in continental deposits and the marine deposits in the United States have completely different stratigraphic conditions. Therefore, the difficulty of construction is what we (unexpected) before, and some did not expect. The difficulty will be so great.

  [Explanation] Daqing Oilfield discovered that Gulong shale had a fractured-pore reservoir system controlled by shale, breaking through the traditional understanding of poor physical properties of shale reservoirs, and found that high-clay shale had integrated source and reservoir and good oil-bearing properties, breaking through shale. The traditional understanding that oil mainly occurs in sandstone and carbonate interbedded layers.

  [Explanation] In addition, it has been discovered that the ancient dragon shale has a wide oil generation window, and the high-maturity stage can still generate liquid hydrocarbons, breaking through the traditional understanding that Ro is greater than 1.3%, which is mainly gas. At the same time, the water-sensitive mineral montmorillonite "death line" has been discovered. ", a breakthrough in the traditional understanding of poor compressibility of high clay shale.

These breakthrough understandings have realized the leap from "generating" oil from continental shale to "producing" oil from continental shale, and from classical petroleum geology migration and accumulation to in-situ accumulation of high-organic shale.

  You see, the oil production after the well pressure of Guye Youping 1 reached 30.5 tons, and the gas production was 13,000 cubic meters. This is the output of the oil test, which refers to the output after the oil test of the exploratory well, that is, it has reached a high-yield industry. According to the current test production output, which is a period of time, what is its oil production capacity? From the current test production output, the oil is tens of tons, and there are five or six thousand cubic meters of gas. From the current trial production for more than 500 days, the total oil and gas equivalent has reached nearly 10,000 tons. Judging from the current pressure production of trial production, there is still great development potential.

  [Explanation] At present, the key exploration wells such as Guye Youping 1, Yingye 1H, and Guye 2HC deployed in the Daqing Oilfield have produced more than 30 cubic meters of oil per day and stable test production. Among them, the Guye Youping 1 well has seen oil production of more than 500 Today, the cumulative production of crude oil is more than 6,000 tons, and the cumulative production of oil and gas equivalent is nearly 10,000 tons, achieving a major strategic breakthrough in continental shale oil in the Songliao Basin.

In addition, 43 vertical wells have produced oil on the plane, and 5 horizontal wells have achieved high production. In 2021, the oil-bearing area will be 1,413 square kilometers, and the newly-increased oil reserves will be 1.268 billion tons.

Daqing Oilfield regards Gulong shale oil as an important strategic area and makes every effort to accelerate various tasks.

100 wells will be implemented in 2021, 58 wells have been drilled, 27 wells have been tested, 25 wells have seen oil, and 17 wells have obtained industrial oil and gas flow.

  The 14th Five-Year Plan will add 1 billion tons of proven oil reserves, and annual output of shale oil will reach more than 1 million tons.
