Japan is proceeding with the conclusion of EPAs with overseas countries and regions, including the EU = European Union, and the target transactions amount to more than 50% of the total trade value.
However, according to JETRO, the complicated document preparation to receive the preferential treatment of EPA is a bottleneck, and the utilization rate of small and medium-sized enterprises is only about 40%.
