Hotpack International, a company specializing in single-use food packaging solutions, announced the signing of an agreement with Dubai Ports World - Emirates Region to use one of Jebel Ali Port terminals, paving the way for the UAE-based company, To export its products through Jebel Ali port.

The agreement was signed at Hotpack's headquarters in Dubai Investments Park, the group's managing director, Abdul Jabbar BP, and Shehab Al Jasmi, Director of the Commercial Department of Ports and Terminals at DP World - Emirates Region.

The Managing Director of Hotpack International Group, Abdul-Jabbar BP, said that "the agreement with Jebel Ali Port of (DP World - Emirates Region), comes in the context of increasing the company's exports and expanding its presence in global markets."

He added: “We are close to achieving a significant achievement in our access to export markets, as our products will soon be available in 100 countries, compared to 95 countries currently.

The agreement will help us support logistics related to our exports to the world, through one strategic gate.” He stressed that DP World’s comprehensive global network, and its extensive experience in operating terminals globally, contribute to adding tremendous value and supporting trade facilitation.

In turn, Shehab Al Jassimi, Director of the Commercial Department of Ports and Terminals at DP World - Emirates Region, said that "Jebel Ali Port has enhanced the success of several companies specializing in packaging solutions, including (Hotpack International)."

He added, "As the 12th largest port in the world, it has a capacity of 22.4 million twenty-foot equivalent containers," pointing out that the spread of "DP World" operations in more than 40 countries, smooth services, and speed of completion, will contribute to promoting the company's growth. and expanding its market reach.

He continued, "We are confident in our ability to help them achieve their export development strategy, and thus enable them to contribute to the (300 billion project) initiative."

It is noteworthy that Hotpack International has revenues of 950 million dirhams, and has a presence in 27 locations in 12 countries across the Middle East and the United Kingdom, as well as a series of branches in Gulf and African countries.

During the past two years, the company exported products worth 700 million dirhams, with an estimated volume of 4,625 containers.

Finally, it obtained the certificate of "certified exporter" by the Dubai Corporation for the Development of Industry and Exports.
