He continued, "Our participation comes under the slogan (Together, the future is ours), and we were inspired by our history and aspirations for the future. Since the dawn of documented history, Syrians have made great achievements in the development of human history," noting that Syria's pavilion at "Expo 2020 Dubai" will be a window displaying a rich civilization. It has contributed to laying the foundations that bind our contemporary world, and seeks to rise again and claim its place in the world.

He said, "Syria was home to the first crop, the first alphabet, the first musical notes and a poem. This, in our opinion, makes the Syrian person a real example that embodies the theme (Connecting Minds and Creating the Future) for the Expo 2020 Dubai, and we are confident that our rich heritage and nature will feed our bright future, not as Syrians. Abbas said that "visitors of the pavilion will be able to see a replica of (the Ugarit alphabet), which is agreed upon as the first alphabet in history, dating back to approximately 1400 BC, and they will learn about the stages of the development of writing and the alphabet in various regions of Syria, and how this alphabet affected the The world, down to the Arabic language, which has affected many of the world’s languages, and visitors can read words in their languages ​​of Arabic origin, indicating that what unites us as human beings is much more than what divides us.”

He pointed out that "in another station, we focus on the development of the first agricultural societies in Syria, which researchers date back to about 15,000 BC, and which had a role in developing early techniques (counting and recording), that preceded writing through clay figures called (tokens)," It is the basis on which the Bronze Age economy and the civilizations that followed,” noting that “in this station also, visitors will be able to participate in an interactive artwork, of which visitors will be part of the pavilion, with Syrian artists, throughout the exhibition period, and symbolizes the artists’ vision On reviving the Syrian countryside.

Then, visitors will learn about the oldest musical notation discovered in the world, and they will participate, through an interactive video, sound and light experience, in playing and singing this piece, which was written in Ugarit about 3500 years ago, and this station symbolizes communication with our visitors from all over the world, In one universal language, music that binds us all together.” Abbas indicated that “in another station of the pavilion, we will hold a group exhibition of Syrian painters on the theme (I am the Syrian), where each displayed painting represents a face from Syria. A brighter future for Syria and the world.”

He explained that "each face separately will tell an individual story, but all the faces together present an integrated picture of who the Syrians are, to the whole world. Through the exhibition, each artist will rethink and reformulate our concept of the individual personality and the human personality, away from prejudices and narrow affiliations. By signing all the paintings, with one signature, “I am the Syrian,” as an expression of the dissolution of the individual “I” for the benefit of the group.

He stated that “at the end of the tour, we receive visitors in the (Qalb Al-Jnah) area, which we wanted a space that expresses Syria and the Syrians in their words and pictures, so we used (wooden numbers) similar to what excavators discovered throughout Syria,” adding: “We launched an initiative during the design of the pavilion. It has more than 2,000 Syrian citizens, from inside and outside Syria, where we sent them this (number) and asked them to share their messages with us to the world through it, and this station will be a wonderful painting expressing the feelings of all Syrians, their aspirations and their vision for the future.”

He said, "In addition to the pavilion's experience, we are working on organizing a program of various cultural and artistic events, which we will announce successively."
