September futures for WTI crude oil rose 0.61% to $ 64.08 per barrel.

Futures for Brent crude oil for October delivery increased by 0.50% to $ 66.78 per barrel.

Earlier, Stanislav Mitrakhovich, a leading expert of the National Energy Security Fund, lecturer at the Financial University under the Government of Russia, in an interview with FBA "Economics Today" said that Russia's return to the pre-pandemic level of oil production will depend on the viability of the stopped fields.
