The Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries has summarized the amount of damage to the agriculture, forestry and fisheries industry caused by heavy rains that will continue from the 11th of this month.



Only those confirmed by the 20th are about 8.3 billion yen in 33 prefectures and prefectures mainly in the Kyushu and Chugoku regions.



Specifically, damage to agricultural products, agricultural facilities such as ponds and waterways, and forest roads has been reported.



On the other hand, there are many municipalities that have not yet been investigated, and the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Fisheries estimates that the amount of damage will be even greater.



The heavy rains that caused debris flows in Atami City, Shizuoka Prefecture last month caused damage to the agriculture, forestry and fisheries industry in 41 prefectures nationwide, amounting to approximately 43 billion yen.
