  A few days ago, the Ministry of Science and Technology announced the third batch of "Belt and Road" joint laboratory construction list.

Leaded by the “One Belt One Road” Information Technology Research Institute of Hangzhou Dianzi University, and jointly declared by Austria MUT Environmental Technology and Mechanical Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd., Vienna University of Technology and Hangzhou Yanshi Technology Co., Ltd., China-Austria Artificial Intelligence and Advanced Manufacturing" The “Belt and Road” joint laboratory is on the list.

  It is understood that the "Belt and Road" joint laboratory approved by the Ministry of Science and Technology is the highest-level platform for the country's foreign scientific and technological cooperation and innovation built with reference to the national key laboratory standards.

  Hangzhou Dianzi University established the “Belt and Road” Information Technology Research Institute in 2017, and its professor Hou Pingzhi serves as the dean of the research institute.

  The team of Hou Pingzhi, the dean of the “Belt and Road” Information Technology Research Institute, and Austria's leading environmental protection company MUT Environmental Technology and Mechanical Equipment Engineering Co., Ltd., and the Vienna University of Technology have more than ten years of in-depth cooperation.

  Previously, the multi-party cooperative brand research and development projects "Intelligent Manufacturing/Process Industry Intelligent Digital Simulation Factory", "Modern Coal Chemical Public Training Center Coal-to-Olefin, Coal-to-Liquid OTS Simulation Factory System", etc. have been widely used in the industrialization of the two countries.

  Hou Pingzhi said that in the future, the R&D personnel of the two countries will rely on the international joint laboratory to demonstrate the industrial intelligent application of intelligent equipment R&D and intelligent operation and maintenance technology in the field of green cities and intelligent environmental protection.

  In addition, based on the cooperation of intelligent simulation technology in the process industry, the laboratory will develop industrial virtual reality digital twin transparent factory products that integrate artificial intelligence and intelligent manufacturing technology to promote joint scientific research results in the "Belt and Road" countries and regions. We will promote the application of globalization, jointly build an international leading platform for scientific and technological cooperation and high-end talent training, and open up the international market.
