Merge Plus CEO Kwon Nam-hee, who caused a large-scale refund, apologized in an interview with SBS, saying that the refund response was inexact.

CEO Kwon said that his business was paralyzed by the request for a refund, and his insufficient response in the process increased customer anxiety.

He said it would be difficult to handle if a customer requests a refund at once, but he will refund in sequence.

In addition, he claimed that the settlement was completed to reduce the damage to small business owners.

Regarding the issue of non-registration of the electronic financial business, Merge Plus maintained its position that it is not subject to registration as an electronic financial business as it is a gift certificate issuance business.

CEO Kwon said that he would secure a brand that could be used in September, but that he was even considering selling it to alleviate customer anxiety.

However, it is still unknown whether the service can be normalized even when the police investigation has begun.

Detailed interview details can be found on SBS 8 News today (20th).
