In the saury fishing, which is expected to be seriously unfished, the first landing of a small boat for the main fishing rod net fishing was carried out in Akkeshi Town, Hokkaido.

In the auction, the expensive ones were sold for 28,000 yen per kilogram, and the large ones were sold for 3,500 yen at the store.

A small boat of 10 tons or more and less than 20 tons, which was caught on the 12th of this month, returned to the port of Akkeshi Town and landed the first saury caught in the North Pacific Ocean.

The amount of landing remained at a low level of about 150 kg.

The saury was auctioned at the wholesale market of the Akkeshi Fisheries Cooperative on the morning of the 19th, and the highest price was 28,000 yen per kilogram, which was the highest price for a saury for bar net fishing in this market.

According to the Japan Fisheries Research and Education Agency, the amount of saury coming to fishing grounds in the waters near Japan is expected to exceed last year's record low, but it is expected to remain below the level of the adult and remain at a low level.

Flocks were not found in the drift net fishing by small boats on the eastern coast of Hokkaido, which was lifted early last month, and the landings so far have remained at zero.

Mutsuto Utsumi, president of a fishery processing company in Akkeshi-cho, who bid for saury, said, "It's small and expensive, but it's the first one, so I definitely want you to eat it with sashimi."

On the 20th, the ban on saury fishing in the North Pacific will be lifted and full-scale fishing will begin in earnest.

At the direct sales office, there is also a price tag of 3500 yen per animal

At the Akkeshi Fisheries Cooperative's direct sales office in Akkeshi Town, the first landed saury lined up at the store immediately, and the larger ones were sold for 3,500 yen each, and the visitors were surprised to see the price tag. ..

An 80-year-old man in the neighborhood who bought the saury said, "I couldn't buy a big one because it was too expensive, so I chose a cheaper one. I really want a thicker one, but I can't help it."

A 90-year-old man in the town left the store saying, "I used to buy 100 yen, but now it's not. It's going to take some time to get into our mouth."
