Premiered at the IAA in Munich next September, the BMW iX5 Hydrogen converts hydrogen into electricity by means of a fuel cell developing 170 hp.

Emitting only water, this 5th generation mechanics developing a total of 374 hp, taken from the iX, can be recharged in deceleration or coasting.

Equipped with two plastic tanks containing nearly 6 kg of hydrogen, the BMW has a range of several hundred km.

It only takes 3 to 4 minutes to fill it up.

Externally, it takes the stylistic codes of the BMW iX, the Bavarian manufacturer's electric range.

Already in test on European roads, the iX5 will be on display at the IAA in Munich and will be produced in very limited series.
