Since it is expected that the management of small and medium-sized enterprises will become more difficult due to the increase in the minimum wage after autumn, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will expand support such as increasing the ratio of subsidies for small and medium-sized enterprises that are changing their business format due to the corona disaster. It was decided to do.

The minimum wage is the minimum wage that a company must pay to workers, and the amount of increase this year was 28 yen on a national average including the population, the highest ever.

From autumn, the new minimum wage is expected to be applied, and it is expected that the management of small and medium-sized enterprises whose sales are declining due to the spread of the new corona infection will become even more difficult.

As a result, the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry has decided to expand support for SMEs affected by the increase in the minimum wage.

The target is small and medium-sized enterprises that are affected by the new Corona and employ more than 10% of all employees at a level close to the minimum wage.

When these companies change their format, they will raise the subsidy rate from the usual 66% to 75%.

It depends on the number of employees, but we will subsidize up to 15 million yen.

In addition, the subsidy is given priority over the regular subsidy.

The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry wants to support companies to make drastic decisions by expanding support.
