On August 16, when Fu Linghui, spokesperson for the National Bureau of Statistics, introduced the performance of the national economy in July 2021, he pointed out that my country's service industry continued to develop. The service industry production index from January to July increased by 19.6% year-on-year, and the two-year average growth rate was 6.5. %.

Judging from the month of July, the growth of some consumer sectors and service industries has slowed down.

　　Data show that in July, the national service industry production index increased by 7.8% year-on-year, which was 3.1 percentage points lower than in June, which was higher than the growth rate in the same period in 2019 and 2020; the two-year average growth rate was 5.6%.

Among them, the production index of information transmission, software and information technology services increased by 16.9% year-on-year.

From January to July, the service industry production index increased by 19.6% year-on-year, down 1.9 percentage points from January to June; the two-year average growth rate was 6.5%.

In terms of major industries, the production indexes of the eight sub-sectors all maintained growth year-on-year, of which the production indexes of information transmission, software and information technology services increased by 21.6% year-on-year.

　　From January to July, investment in high-tech industries increased by 20.7% year-on-year, and the two-year average growth rate was 14.2%; among them, investment in high-tech manufacturing and high-tech service industries increased by 27.1% and 8.8% year-on-year respectively.

In the high-tech service industry, the investment in e-commerce service industry and R&D and design service industry increased by 42.7% and 27.2% respectively year-on-year.

　　From January to June, the operating income of service industry enterprises above designated size increased by 29.5% year-on-year, and the two-year average growth rate was 11.1%, which was the same as from January to May.

Among them, the operating income of information transmission, software and information technology service industry, scientific research and technical service industry increased by 25.7% and 23.9% respectively year-on-year, and the two-year average growth rate was 17.4% and 12.1% respectively.

In July, the business activity index of the service industry was 52.5%, an increase of 0.2 percentage points from June, and was above the threshold for 17 consecutive months.

In terms of market expectations, the service industry business activity expectation index is 60.1%, which continues to be in a relatively high boom range.

　　At the same time, according to the latest news from the Ministry of Commerce, in the first half of this year, my country's service trade maintained a good growth momentum, and the proportion of knowledge-intensive service trade continued to increase.

In the first half of the year, my country's total import and export of services was 2377.44 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 6.7%; of which, service exports increased by 23.6% year-on-year; imports fell by 5% year-on-year.
