118 applications to join the “certified issuer” program within 3 years

The Dubai Corporation for the Development of Industry and Exports, one of Dubai's economic institutions, announced that it had received 118 applications to join the "Authorized Exporter" program, and that 36 companies from 10 different sectors had obtained the "Authorized Exporter" certificate, since the program was launched in 2019, with the aim of enhancing the development stages of the program. The industrial sector and local factories from the production stage to the export stage, in addition to the positive impact of the program on manufacturers, and raising their capabilities in the field of foreign export.

Deputy Executive Director of the Dubai Corporation for Industry and Exports Development, Mohammed Ali Al Kamali, said, "Capacity development programs have proven their effectiveness in promoting diverse industries and sectors in Dubai in general, and this is what we have seen during our experience in promoting manufacturing and exports over the past years."

He added, "The (certified issuer) program was designed based on this experience and the need for a program dedicated to developing the capabilities and capabilities of emerging companies, especially small and medium ones, in the field of export."
