In recent years, the development of matchmaking related industries has been very prosperous.
According to the data from enterprise search, there are currently 21,000 matchmaking-related companies in my country, and the number of registrations in 2020 will reach more than 3,700, which is more than three times more than the figure ten years ago.
In the first half of this year, there were 1,767 newly registered companies, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%.
From the perspective of urban distribution, the existing matchmaking companies in my country are mainly located in Chengdu, Nanjing, Cangzhou, Shijiazhuang, Chongqing and other cities. Among them, Chengdu ranks first in the country with 589.
Interestingly, the cities with the largest number of matchmaking companies are not first-tier cities such as Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou and Shenzhen, but mostly located in new first-tier cities or second- and third-tier cities.

In the past ten years, the number of registrations of matchmaking-related companies has shown a fluctuating upward trend. Among them, 3874 companies were newly registered in 2018, and the number of registrations reached 4,521 in 2019, an increase of 16.7% year-on-year.
Under the influence of the epidemic, the number of registrations of matchmaking-related companies in 2020 was 3705, a year-on-year decrease of 18.0%.
Judging from the number of registrations this year, in the first half of 2021, the number of registrations related to matchmaking companies in my country was 1,767, a year-on-year increase of 1.9%.
Judging from the number of registrations in each quarter, the number of registrations in the first quarter and the second quarter of this year were 768 and 999 respectively, and the number of registrations in the second quarter increased by 30.1% from the previous quarter.
Shandong, Hebei and Jiangsu ranked top three in the region, with the most enterprises in Chengdu and Nanjing
In terms of regional distribution, Shandong Province has the largest number of matchmaking-related companies, reaching 3,222, and Hebei and Jiangsu are ranked second and third with 2,653 and 2,306 respectively.
The 4-8th places are Sichuan, Henan, Anhui, Hubei, and Hunan.
