According to the relevant person in charge, the “Canal” launched this time consists of a cutter head, a shield body and 5 sets of trolleys. The excavation diameter is 16.07 meters, the length of the machine is 145 meters, and the total weight is about 4,500 tons, creating a domestic shield. In addition, the "Canal" adopts the world's first long-distance tunneling without tool change technology independently developed, which can realize continuous tunneling 4800 meters without changing the tool.
