Among them, the operating income of flat glass enterprises was 55.36 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 46.2%, and the total profit was 12.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 155%, and the sales profit margin was 21.9%; the operating income of technical glass enterprises was 127.12 billion yuan, a year-on-year increase of 34.3%, and the total profit 14.81 billion yuan, an increase of 129.2% year-on-year, and a sales profit rate of 11.7%.

Data show that in June 2021, the ex-factory price index of flat glass industrial products reached 147.1, an increase of 11.2% month-on-month and a year-on-year increase of 74.1%.

The proportion of production and sales of high-quality flat glass for photovoltaic, automotive, low-radiation and electronic glass has risen, and its price is more than twice that of the original flat glass for ordinary construction, resulting in an increase in the average price of flat glass.

In recent years, mainly driven by the demand for flat glass sheets for photovoltaic glass, flat glass production and sales have rebounded sharply.

As one of the main raw materials for glass production, the price of soda ash has risen from about 1,300 yuan/ton in the fourth quarter of last year to about 3,200 yuan/ton at present.
