Very discreet since its launch in 2015, the second generation of the Honda NSX is far from having been a commercial success. This is perhaps the fault of a fairly ordinary line which has not appealed to fans of racy cars. Suddenly, the Japanese manufacturer has just announced the end of its production next year but is launching an ultimate version called Type S which will be presented at Monterey Car Week on August 12. Originally, the NSX develops 581 hp thanks to its 3.5-liter V6 engine and 3 electric powertrains. According to some sources, the Type S could climb to 650 hp. This extra power will be accompanied by additional downforce, as well as reworked suspensions and brakes. Only 350 units will be built until the end of production of the NSX.The majority of them will be exported to the United States.
