[Explanation] Since the first China-Europe train departed from the Alashankou port in Xinjiang in 2011, the number of inbound and outbound trains has increased by 35.8% annually over the past 10 years, making it the port with the largest number of cumulative trains in China.

According to data provided by Alashankou Customs, as of July 26, the total number of trains entering and leaving Central Europe (Central Asia) through the Alashankou port exceeded 20,000.

Recently, the reporter visited this busy northwestern border city with the China-Europe Express train.

  In order to ensure the efficient customs clearance of China-Europe freight trains at the port, Alashankou Customs has set up a special window to implement a 24-hour customs clearance system, giving priority to the whole process, simplifying the customs clearance procedures of the freight train, realizing paperless declaration, automatic verification and release, and the fastest export freight train Within ten minutes, customs formalities can be completed.

In order to solve the problem that containers cannot be reloaded due to strong winds, the port station has established the largest indoor container reloading warehouse in Asia, laying a foundation for the opening of China-Europe freight trains.

  A wide-gauge reloading line and a standard-gauge reloading line are newly built indoors. Four 40-ton bridge cranes are set up, and the vehicle-to-vehicle direct reloading is realized in the warehouse. The annual design capacity is 200,000 TEUs.

  [Explanation] The China-Europe Express train continues to "break the wind" in Alashankou, and it also "brings" new development opportunities for the local area.

The Alashankou Comprehensive Bonded Zone, which was closed for operation in 2014, became the first comprehensive bonded zone in Xinjiang.

At present, the bonded zone has accumulatively settled 553 enterprises in trade, logistics, cross-border e-commerce and other fields.

  Our company imports 300,000 tons of wheat from Kazakhstan every year, and then processes them into dried noodles, and then exports them to Central Europe and Central Asian countries through the China-Europe train. Because of the low transportation cost, high efficiency and normal operation of the China-Europe train, On the one hand, it has saved a lot of expenses for our company.

  [Explanation] In addition to developing the real economy, cross-border e-commerce has become people's "new favorite".

The reporter saw on the large screen of the Alashankou cross-border e-commerce big data center that along the route of the China-Europe train, goods from Shenzhen, Guangzhou, Yiwu and other places in China exit the Alashankou in Xinjiang, and continue to be sent to Belgium, Poland, Britain, Germany, the Netherlands and other countries.
