"The volume of international reserves as of July 23 amounted to $ 594.5 billion, having decreased over the week by $ 2.9 billion, or 0.5%," the statement said.

It is clarified that the decrease in the volume of international reserves occurred under the influence of negative revaluation, partly offset by the purchase of foreign currency within the framework of the budget rule.

Earlier, the Central Bank of Russia said that in the second quarter of 2021, the domestic economy returned to pre-crisis levels.
